Iron City Memorial Classic
The 9th annual "Iron City Memorial Classic" will take place May 26-27-28, 2012 in Pittsburgh, PA. The gym locations for this year will be Monroeville Sports Center (Monroeville, PA) and Court Time Sports Center (Elizabeth, PA). Note that teams will not be required to travel between the two playing sites on the same day. Additional area gyms will be used as needed.
The Memorial Day weekend format will include pool play on both Saturday and Sunday, followed by single elimination tournament on Monday (Memorial Day). The cost is $350 per team, and there is a 5-game guarantee.
Available age groups for both girls teams and boys teams includes 5th Grade/10U, 6th Grade/11U, 7th Grade/12U, 8th Grade/13U, 9th Grade/14U, 10th Grade/15U, and an "Open" division. The "Open" division is for any team age 9th Grade/14U through 12th Grade/19U that wishes to play at the highest level of competition against other, similar teams.
